Camp 3: Birds - March 23-27

$100.00

Calling all young bird explorers! This week at Roots & Wings Nature Camp, campers will become bird detectives—listening for songs, spotting fluttery friends, and learning what birds need to survive. Kids will learn to use binoculars for birdwatching, look for clues like feathers and tracks, and create their own bird ID cards to help recognize common local birds.

Campers will also build and decorate small wooden twig birdfeeders they can take home and prepare to sell. Along the way, we’ll learn simple, kid-friendly facts about migration, map where some birds travel, and help create better bird habitats by adding native plants or water sources.
